“Handed to WordPress” means the draft reached the site’s CMS, not that it was published: a human still presses Publish in wp-admin, and nothing here polls for that yet. The push path only shipped in early July, so month and all-time can read the same — a launch total, not a stalled counter. Proposed headlines are the desk’s full idea bench; a fraction are commissioned into articles.
